Not generally a fan of witch-related novels, I nevertheless began this, the first of a trilogy because I had faith in the author. She always delivers. This was a wonderful book, filled with excellent descriptions of landscape and people.

A pass along from my Mother-In-Law. Even thought the story was about three witches it didn't focus on that. Good read.

With magic and witches forming the backdrop for this trilogy it had to be another Nora Roberts winner. The romances were very different in their origin and development. These are three sisters of the soul and not of the body but they couldn't be more tightly bound. Another excellent read and highly recommended.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. This is the first book in the Three Sisters Island trilogy. It delves into the paranormal and is very appropriate for this time of year (Halloween).

Dance Upon the Air begins during the Salem witch trial years with three witches creating an island on which they can live without fear. Fast forward 300 years to the scenic and pleasant Three Sister's Island. We meet Mia, who embraces her gifts as a witch and runs the book and coffee shop and Ripley, who shuns any mention of witchcraft and is a deputy sheriff on Three Sisters. They are joined by a newcomer, Nell, who has a troubled past and escapes to the island to begin the life she has longed for. Nell doesn't realize she has gifts, but with Mia's guidance, she begins to accept them and put her gifts to use. Mia and Nell must draw Ripley into their fold because trouble is coming to Three Sister's Island and it will take the power of the three to stop it.

This is one of my favorite books. It hold special meaning to me because I can really relate to who Nell is. My best friend always reminds me that she is the Mia to my Nell. This book makes me smile when I feel down
