It's hard not to like a book that gives you an inside glimpse of the real Hollywood, the one that generates conversations like this: "We want to be careful that it doesn't turn into a Jane Fonda movie." "But it is a Jane Fonda movie." "Just because Jane Fonda is in it, it doesn't mean it has to turn into a Jane Fonda movie." Eszterhas also opens the door a little on his creative process - even if a lot of it involves sex as power and women with knives.
