And you hit your forehead, "how did I get here from where I was?!" A masterpiece in surrealist literature!”

Exquisitely crafted self-deprecation and satire from a 1930s-poland still somehow rings true even in its depiction of class disparity and lambasting of institutionalized learning and bad authors. Kinda made me not want to publish anything I write, lest it be taken as awful or pretentious but not really.”
