above all the leadership/self-help books i've read so far(maxwell, landberg, sanborn...), i find this by far the most practical and helpful. first, it is based on research on a sample population of more than 500,000 people which has somewhat encouraged the writers to take a tone of scientific objectivity. i find this a refreshing change from books on the subject that ground their theories based on one person's experiences (usually of the author's ). they tend to oversaturate the message. second, i find their online IEA test/program ( comes along with the book) helpful since it aids in making more accurate prescriptions and recommendations. third, their over-all presentation is clear and succinct. after closing the book you don't find yourself forgetting the meat of what was said. finally, i like it because they know how to sell it!
