“An ok enough read, but Lovely Bones had much more depth and quality to it. I do confess I did not like the account of Helen killing her mother and how she treated the body after the crime, as well as the having sex with her best friend's son. Just a little too much information that I could have done without. I think the novel would have been better focused if Helen had just recounted her whole past after killing her mother and if she had stayed with the body. I could not fathom some of her behaviour and I can only conclude she was not mentally stable either.”
