Characters edit see section history

  • Sabrina Grimm: Sabrina Grimm is a very headstrong, defensive girl who doesn't like being in the position of the "damsel in distress", so when Puck saves her all those countless times, she grumbles because it makes her feel inferior. Also, Sabrina is addicted to magic, therefore can't use magical items in combat. Mistrustfully, Sabrina tried to escape the custody of her "grandmother," whom she was told had died; after Granny Relda and Mr. Canis are kidnapped by a giant, however, she realizes that her Granny Relda was alive and the family business existed. Soon, Sabrina grew to love her grandmother, even with her eccentric cooking.
  • Daphne Grimm: Add a description of this character.
  • Granny Relda: Granny Relda is the softhearted, accepting grandmother that you would imagine rocking in a chair at first sight. However, she is almost the complete OPPOSITE of that. Of course, she is accepting and can be softhearted, but she would not spend her day rocking in a chair, knitting, like a normal grandmother. No, she would be out and about, searching for clues to the latest mystery in Ferryport Landing or helping a close friend with a problem they are experiencing.
  • Puck: Puck is an unhygienic, sleazy fairy that joins the Grimm household at the end of the first book. Lazy and unhelpful, he spends the majority of his days, if not saving Sabrina from trouble and being a hero, even though he is a "villain of the worst kind", then setting up pranks to somehow annoy Sabrina. He tries to hide it, but it is quite obvious that he, if not loves, then really likes Sabrina, and, though it's less obvious with her, she really likes him, too. Puck's pixies prove to be useful in several situations and his enchanted room contains his army of minion chimpanzees.

A million thoughts ran through Sabrina’s head at once. Puck was annoying. He had dumped her in vats of disgusting glop. He’d put creepy crawlers in her bed. But the most awful thought of them all was the one about the kiss—it was nice.
