This is the first book I've read by this best selling author.

Although I enjoyed the book and read it in two days, I felt a little left out as this was the new release of the Alex Cross series and I know I've missed so much.

The ending was disappointing as the killer is still out there, targeting Alex Cross and we know there's going to be another book about it.

But he's a fine author, engaging, character driven and it's an easy read.

I keep reading Alex Cross because, for some reason, I feel an obligation to go the distance with the character. Frankly, at this point, I wish he'd retire for good or die in the line of duty. I'm completely sick of his ridiculous romances. I'm also sick of Nana Mama's preachy advice.

I enjoy reading all of the James Patterson books, including the Cross collection & the Woman's Club collection, however, does anyone know of any other author is similar in writing.
    Thanks

Wow...I thought it was really good. I couldn't put it down. I am glad to see James Patterson is back. The last couple I read were not as good. I guess the sexual part is a bit much, but I thought it was a relatively small part of the whole book. Definitely worth the time.

This was a really good one, but this one was crazy. I don't know if I am happy with the whole sexual aspect that he had in this book, for James Patterson it really bothered me. The overall story though was really well thought out and put together, although I didn't like that Kyle Craig escaped and is now free, but I guess James Patterson, basically needed a way to keep the Cross character coming back

I agree with the review below mine...I would rather Kyle Craig just rot in jail...I really long for the days of Along Came a Spider or Kiss the Girls. Also, how many new women is Alex going to have? I kind of wish he could be back with Christine.
