Liked It“I didn't like Covenant of the Flame as well, because inexplicably, it features characters from the other three books (though I think Covenant is between Fraternity and League) but doesn't name them. I didn't understand this change, and so didn't enjoy it as well. It was still engrossing though,...” see full review » see other reviews » |

There was a LOT of environmental jargon that I suspect would have lost a few people. Luckily, I spent 8 years as an Environmental Educator AFTER 4 years in an Environmental Studies kind of college. I didn't care for the Environmental vs. Religion slant but I did appreciate that they pointed out the good AND negative sides of both groups. It does leave you routing for the "bad guys", though. There were, also, more than a few "duh" moments where a character would state the obvious just to fill in the "audience". Give us some credit, huh!”
