This book is about a little girl called Little Fearless. It is set in a city where freedom is limited by the government. Little Fearless lives in the Institute - a prison for refugees, insane, badly behaved and children of rebels. The institute ( which pretends to be a rehabilitation school) is where all these kids are made to work tirelessly doing laundry. But little fearless escapes to try to find the girl's families.

  • Little Fearless: She is the main character of this book. She is very brave and will do anything to save her friends. She is brave, stubborn and loving to anyone who would care for her. She is also caring for those in need.
  • Star Gazer: Little Fearless' friend who can see the future. She loves Little Fearless the most, and never looses faith in her.
  • Stench: The girl who is in charge of the rubbish tips. She changes as the story goes on and becomes Little Fearless's friend.
