• DouglasDougless Montgomery is a complete doormat and her love life as usual is in shambles. She and her boyfriend are heading off to England with his two daughtersdaughter who showshows her absolutely no respect nor does he. Finally at an ancient kirk in England the last straw breaks the camels back as a blow up between her and Roberts daughter Gloria finally brings things to a head and she finally starts to come to a realization that things are not going to change for the better. She's broken heartedly sobbing on a tomb stone and is startled by the exclamations of a man in shining armor accusing her of being a witch and demanding she cease her sobbing and give him answers, they begin their quest for truth and solutions for the terrible way he's documented in the history books and seen by the world.
  Completely puzzled at their feelings for one another and the fact that when ever Douglas weeps, Nicolas can hear her and can not stop himself from coming to her rescue, they fall in love and make love and suddenly one day he begins to disappear. Douglas is devastated but realizes that it did happen and makes plans to go back home. Then one night she hears his voice and passes out and then wakes up to find herself in mid 1400's actually 4 years before Nicolas historical death, he at first doesnt recognize her and then as she begins to slowly work her way into everyones heart Nicolas finally succombs and she changes his life forever. again they work through to complete love from scratch and she proves herself and Nicolas changes life for people in his country in more ways than one ....
