This was a wonderful story. Mr Sparks does a great job detailing them falling in love. I did not really see the last part of book coming, which is a nice change. The ending was well thought out and leaves you feel warm. Great book worth reading.

hmm its a nice and feel good romantic read, nothing great about it, but still the chapters when travis was visiting gabby in hospital were very emotional and lively.

I thought the ending was pretty predictable, yet still uplifting and inspiring, so it has that going for it. I also felt Travis' sister's character was sort of forced on you, and didn't have much depth....I still enjoyed the core story between Travis and Gabby though.

I was really surprised by the Epilogue. I mean, people love happily ever after, but that isn't what I was expecting because I don't know that I respected Travis's decision to overlook Gabby's choice. I understand, sure, but respect, no.

I was hoping to read more about their loving life together. I don't like that it was just implied that they had this amazing relationship. I wanted to fall in love with them, not just hear that that's the kind of love their had.

I know, Iit could have had a third part, and had something about their relationship, what it was like for them to go on adventures together, shown more developement in her character (I might have liked her better that way). It was definitely lacking something there.

Coming from a guy’s view, I'd say it’s an awesome book. It's just that I don't get why most of his stories focus on the ladies having all of problems like Alzheimers, coma, leukemia (N MORE) hehe..but overall, he's still a good author.

I think Sparks get used to it because his sister died of cancer.

Maybe it's easier for him to write the supporter's thoughts and emotions if that supporter is a man. I would think it's hard enough to write about these topics if you've never been through them, let alone trying to write from the viewpoint of a different gender :)

This is one of the best Nicholas Sparks books I've ever read. I had a really hard time putting it down. I've also probably never cried as much in most of his other books. This is definitely worth reading if you enjoy Nicholas Sparks and a good emotional book.

This book is by far my favorite of Nicholas Sparks. I love the way he can tell a story and your not sure where it's going to take you. Nicholas Sparks is also one of all time favorite authors.
