This is by far one of the best Christian books I've ever read. The author, once a shepherd himself, explains Psalm 23 in shepherding terms. Very educational and a book that you won't forget. This book is uplifting and heartwarming. One of my favorites!

The 23rd Psalm is probably one of the most well known scripture of the Bible to Christians and non Christians. It is a scripture read at many funerals for the comfort of those in mourning. But it is ever really explained? Keller's perspective from a shepards point of view brings it to life.

Doug has read this before but is re-reading for the joy of it. It's a small book with a quick read but I think it brought new focus for him when the girls memorized Psalm 23 as part of our school.

One of the most awesome books I've ever read and continue to read off and on. What a wonderful look at the 23rd Psalm. It opened my eyes to a lot of the verbiage David uses. This is one book worth owning!

"A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23" is a wonderfully insightful devotional by W. Phillip Keller that will open your eyes to the deeper meaning of the references in the psalm from the point of view of an actual shepherd. Keller's descriptions and insight are thoughtful and will impact anyone's relationship with God. This book is a must have for any Christian's library.
