When Annie O'Toole waved goodbye to Sam she thought that she would never see him again. But fate has a strange way of mixing things up. The whole country sees Sam save a group of children on TV at great peril to himself. Now the Navy must hide him and keep him safe until he regains his memory about his last mission. Annie's exclusive spa and resort on the California coast is the perfect place for Sam's recovery. Annie is determined to help San even if he can't remember her or the days that they spent together.”

Annie O'Toole is overworked and seems to love it. A month ago she had a steamy affair with a man on his way to Mexico in his sailboat. So, what is he doing on top of a runaway school bus in Washington D.C. dressed in a Navy uniform?
Sam McKade is a hero all the way. He's on his way to report on his latest top secret mission when a runaway school bus needs saving. He steps in to save the day, but nearly loses his life in the process and does lose his memory.
Annie gets tasked to help her hero heal, but he doesn't remember her and she can't forget him. Sam finds her intriguing, but can't figure out why.
Annie and Sam have great chemistry--hot right from the start. I enjoyed the push and pull they had. She was a little annoying at the end, but I found that in the first couple of books in the series the heroines were the same way.
Izzy is back from Overboard and just as likable as before. I'm not sure he gets his own story, but it would be nice to know more about this intriguing character.
Good series that I will keep reading”
“Another rugged Navy SEAL comes to the rescue, reluctantly. SAm McKade is on his way to report a traitor in the government when he becomes a national hero saving a runaway school bus filled with children. Unfortunately he is almost killed while doing it, and gets amnesia. He is sent to a wonderful secluded beach resort where Annie is the owner and physical therapist. He does not remember that they were lovers in the past. She can not tell him because the government want his memory to come back naturally. he falls in love all over again. But danger from his enemies is great for Annie. Love these SEAL stories.”
