Colbert is awesome on the Colbert Report but the book comes appallingly short of expectations when compared to its more hilarious and well written predecessor by Jon Stewart : America, A citizen's guide to democracy.
The blowhorn attitude comes across as funny on TV but the biting satire fails to enchant. On the other hand, I highly recommend Jon Stewart's book as the latter kept me laughing till the last page. If you need a serious stomach ache from overexposure to happiness, then Stewart's America is the one for you... not Colbert's I am America”
“Very funny if you're a fan of Colbert Nation. Not sure how it would go over if you don't watch.”
