This book was so great. My friend nearly cracked my head open, trying to pass it to me while I was walking home and he was taking a passing bus. I must say it was worth the impending headache, blood and stitches. I read this the entire hospital stay and even my nurse left my room cracking up. This man's character is so well played, it never surprises me what he says, but it does make me smiler wider. The sarcasm and blunt humor may not be for everyone, but most people with a sense of humor will enjoy this book thoroughly.

Great fun, and even funnier to listen to. He's so deadpan.

LOL, the cat lady, what he says about Catholics. I can take the heat. Not saying I am the cat lady. No way.

If you don't get some laughs out of this one you are either humorless or you are a neo-con republican and didn't realize it is a parody. Cobert stays in character so well I sometimes believe that he is the absolute jerk he pretends to be. An interesting and relevant social commentary that shows how ridiculous the extreme right wing view of the world is.

A hilarious satire. My personal favorites are the chapters on religion and sports, but all are truly excellent. The inclusion of the White House correspondents' dinner was also a nice touch.
