this is the book i read for my holiday homework. in the story, there is two little girl about seven years old. They were very clever and they banquishes the mean old wicked witch to a glass hill and untill Halloween she can come down for one day. the old witch is very lonely, so the two girls decide to send a little witch to acompany her, there is also a baby witch after the little witch girl. There is also a bee that helped the girls a lot.

This is a charming, clever kid's story! I don't know how it is that I never read this as a child, but I'm glad to have read it now, and just in time for "Halloweeny" as it's called in the book.

Amy is a brave little girl who, along with her best friend Clarissa, "banquishes" Mean Old Wicked Witch to a glass hill to keep her out of trouble. But when that becomes too boring, Amy and Clarissa write all kinds of adventures for Old Witch, including adding Little Witch girl Hannah, and Weeny Witch Baby BeeBee to the family. Everyone is watched over by Amy's "representatiff" Malachi the spelling bee.

The story is a delight and would be the perfect book for reading to any young girls.

I loved this book as a child; rereading it, I still love it as an adult. Its one I revisit every few years.

Right now I'm still readng it but it is so fun.
I like the part when Hannah (the little witch girl) says a magic spell so that two girls appear. I'm not going to say who.

A little bit confusing about why the witch had to do what Amy and Clarissa say. But other than that a pretty good book.
