I recall that I liked it and, reading about the catering, made me wish I enjoyed cooking. These characters just love what they do, and it is infectious! I am looking forward to re-reading this for Book Group, December 2008 - each of us will select a Maeve Binchy book of our choosing.

Not me fav'rit Binchy, but how can ya not love a good book set in Dublin? I miss it, I do. But Maeve Binchy always gives her readers the absolute flavor of contemporary Ireland. We love her for that!

I really enjoyed this book and actually read it again at a later time... which I rarely do. I love Maeve Binchy and how she interwines peoples lives with each other... It kind of reiterates the precipice "It's a Wonderful Life" in that we are all necessary in one anothers lives and play a role, no matter how small.
