Did not enjoy it. I wanted it to be over.

The two main characters are too perfect. They are both rich, beautiful, smart and do everything better than anyone else. She wears the best clothes, does the best job, drives fast, gets on a tempermental horse but gallops away competently, and saves the day at a wedding by playing the harp when the hired harpist doesn't show. I was a little bored with all the perfection. Then I was bored, waiting for the relationship to take off. They both were attracted to each other but kept postponing intimacy for most of the book. For example on page 199, he said "why don't we put each other out of our misery?", then they start kissing, then he said "I'd better go." This unrealistic delaying did not make a good story.
CAUTION SPOILER: I was mad at Sierra at the end, when she got mad at Blade for having a security person follow her. Sierra knew Blade feared she might get kidnapped, but she made him call off security saying she could take care of herself. Then shortly thereafter, she was careless and was kidnapped. She was stupid to get rid of her security.
Sexual language: mild. Number of sex scenes: five. Setting: current day San Francisco, Dallas and Mexico. Copyright: 2007. Genre: contemporary African-American romance.

This start off slow but finishes with a big bang. It is a very hot and steamy love story that brings the closure to this series. Although the end leads you to believe that Ms. Ray is going to extend this to the friends of the Graysons. Sierra's story had to be beyond anything the other stories had and Ms. Ray definitely delivered.
Sierra Grayson is next in line for love. If her four older brothers managed to get married off, surely Sierra can't be far behind. At least that's the outcome her matchmaking mother, Ruth, is hoping for...whether Sierra--smart, too sexy for her own good, and stubborn to a fault--wants it or not. But little does Ruth know what else fate has in store.
After a chance meeting, billionaire real estate mogul Blade Navarone "wins" Sierra at an auction. Both are stunned by the intense sexual attraction and fight it for different reasons. A legend in the industry, Blade is know to be ruthless and relentless--a cruel twist of fate taught him to be no other way. But can Sierra trust him to treat her as more than just another acquisition? And if Blade does allow himself to care for her, will Sierra herself be willing to give up her hard-won independence and make a lifelong investment? Or has a mother's luck run its course?

Ms. Jackson has done it again! Time and time again, Ms. Jackson gives the reading audience a story they can relate to and enjoy. She also brings the family to you. In ONLY YOU, Sierra Grayson continues the Grayson storyline.
Strong willed and minded, Sierra knows what she wants and usually gets what she sets out to get or accomplish. This time, Sierra does both in one setting. Sierra knows she wants to make it in the real estate world, but she has also met a man she knows she wants as well. Not just any man -- but the virile, dynamic, handsome, fearsome man or is he warrior -- Blade Navaronne - who is not only a man, but he is the man for Sierra.
Her brothers have all fallen in their mother's, Ruth Grayson's net and are wondering how Sierra will escape being caught. Even Sierra thinks she has one upon her mother because this time Sierra wants to do it alone. Sierra did not count on falling for Blade, but after another chance meeting and then being auctioned off to Blade in an underhanded way for a benefit auction, everything falls in place. Sierra embarks in a journey of no return. However, Blade is reluctant to let Sierra travel along the journey with him. Nonetheless, the heart, like the brain, has a mind of its own. Although we may say the heart cannot think, the heart definitely can and does feel. So when the feelings take over, sometimes the mind is hard to control.
Sierra and Blade goes on a journey of no return. A journey of love, adventure, and danger -- one that Blade will give almost anything to prevent, but because of his love for Sierra, even the mighty Blade Navaronne cannot accomplish this coup! Love has a way of conquering its own.
Is this another one for Ruth Grayson and her sister-in-law, Felicia Falcon? Do they have other family members in their sights? In order to find out, you must read this book. You will not be disappointed.
Indeed, a fast read and another great one!
