“Ha. The main character's name is January. I was named after this book. Yup. That's right. Another drug-induced haze, this time maybe in her twenties. I was not allowed to read it until I turned 18 and now I understand why. Sex parties, LSD, scandals. Kept me reading.”

“A bit disappointing. Seemed like J. Susann got bored with her characters and allowed them to disappear before their literary conundrums were resolved. The father-daughter relationship theme was a bit inappropriate even for the time this novel was written. Enjoyed the ease of this read, but would not recommend.”
