Ha. The main character's name is January. I was named after this book. Yup. That's right. Another drug-induced haze, this time maybe in her twenties. I was not allowed to read it until I turned 18 and now I understand why. Sex parties, LSD, scandals. Kept me reading.

A bit disappointing. Seemed like J. Susann got bored with her characters and allowed them to disappear before their literary conundrums were resolved. The father-daughter relationship theme was a bit inappropriate even for the time this novel was written. Enjoyed the ease of this read, but would not recommend.
