“DH and I started listening to the audiobook this evening. It is WONDERFUL! Barack Obama is a great writer and a very good reader. He has a wry, understated sense of humour and a deep love of this country. He understands how we got to where we are and (I'm sure we'll find out as we go along) has a good idea of how we can get ourselves beyond the fix we're in to a better place for ALL of us. I wish this book were required reading/listening for ALL political analysts, pundits, editorialists, and talk-show hosts. They do not "get" where Senator Obama is coming from. And that's because they don't "get" where the American people are coming from. They think they speak for us, but they don't. Senator Obama does. He really understands. We really truly need him as our next President.”
