Of course I have read it. I found it uplifting and it gave me hope that we all can achieve peace and prosperity and put the Bush era behind us. I hope he does well as our president.

One of the more sincere books written by a politician in the 21st century. Tells a lot about the American history, culture, values of the people and the society, the pressing problems facing modern day America and suggests guidelines to improve the life of an average American, with a special focus on the lives of the minorities.

I read this book to find out about the man that would be running for President of the United States. I enjoyed reading this book because I enjoy politics and have an interest in reading about our politicians.

why i voted for obama, and still have hope in politics. this book definitely moderated my view of politics (from right to left), as obama digs his own party at times while showing the other side has valid points as well. i think that is a quality - being able to recognize the weaknesses of your own beliefs, recognize the strengths of your opponents views, while not ascribing bad intentions to either.

solid. really does believe that we all have more in common than what divides us.

I think it was an excellent book, this guy paid his dues to reach the office of the president of the united states. He is probably the best US president I have seen in the 21st century. I am a young adult so I am not saying that there were not good presidents before, I am just saying what I see as a young person, after viewing George Bush.

I love how he thinks. He's a pragmatist with visionary scope who hasn't fallen prey to cynicism. And he isn't just paying lip service to his belief in the value of education.
