“I want to read this and "Dreams from my Father" but was wondering...Which one should I read first?”
“I haven't read the Audacity of Hope, but I did read "Dreams from my Father." While I thought Barack had a lot of great stories, the style of writing was someone boring. I've heard "The Audacity of Hope" was written much better so you may want to start with that one.”
“Read "Dreams" first. "Dreams from my Father" covers his life up until the point that he got into big politics. "Audacity of Hope" starts at the point he became a senator.”
