“Just finished this book last night. Laura Esquivel's books are excellent for those who have a fairly good command of Spanish and are interested in reading in Spanish. Her writing style is uncomplicated and it makes for good Spanish practice! I didn't enjoy this book as much as Como Agua Para Chocolate. For me, it wasn't nearly as passionate. However, this is still a great story about the power of love. Definitely worth reading.”
