It tackles the issue of how individuality and creativity can be squashed, something that happens all too often in school. But there is hope, especially when we can see the potential in others and their work.”

"One morning, Ramon had a wonderful feeling. It was a feeling that even ish words and ish drawings could not capture. He decided not to capture it. Instead, he simply savored it."

This book is about a boy named Ramen, who doesn't think that his paintings are nice because of his older brother teasing him. I liked how his sister had faith in his drawings and in the end, even though his drawings were different, he knew that they were unique in his own little way.”
