Didn’t Like It“Amber Fox is a late 30's chick who acts like she is 20 and seems to be all over the place, but hey there is nothing wrong with that now is there? At the same time....I just didn't quite like her but the story wasn't half bad but not thrilling either. |

It has a lot of components to a good book, humour, romance, suspense, mystery. I really liked the main character, she was super funny and clever and a very strong character who had nearly gotten shot more than once in the book. I definitely would like to read the next book!”

The owner has disappeared and Amber along with a woman who claims to be his daughter are trying to locate him.
Amber also has other cases she’s working on at the same time and finds herself in one mess after another. Her nemesis is Detective Chief Inspector Janice Skipper who has a thing for Amber’s boyfriend, Romeo who works with Janice.
There are a couple of bumbling thugs bringing about some chuckles and other situations that bring smiles or outright laughter to the reader.
There's something really likable about Amber. She's witty and intelligent. While she believes she does love Romeo, her feelings for Brad are still very apparent, causing her to be undecided between the two. I don't think Amber's ever described to be a gorgeous too-good-to-be-true babe or to be the best at what she does but rather she's a mid-thirties woman with real life struggles. ”

This was a free Kindle book so I thought I would give it a try. I didn't hate it, it wasn't one of those "can't put it down" books either it was just ok. There were some things I liked and others that I just found well strange about the writeing style of this book. If I see the 2nd one on Amazon for free I might pick it up but I don't think I'll pay to read it or go out of my way to find it. ”
