Excellent biography of a very complex and talented star. You get an authentic glimpse of what Bette's life was really like off-screen: full of turmoil, angst and more than a little unhappiness, and yet her passion for her work won out. This one made me want to pull out all my Bette Davis DVDs (which I have more than a few) and rewatch all of them!
