Fate - the compelling sequel to My Blood Approves...
Alice Bonham thinks she's finally found a balance in her life between the supernatural and real life with her brother Milo. Jack - her sorta vampire boyfriend - keeps her at arm's length to keep her safe. As for his brother Peter......
Alice Bonham: A 17-year-old human girl who is trying to find a balance between real life and the supernatural. Her vampire boyfriend offers her immortality but she initially turns it down until a tragedy changes her mind. She has a younger brother named Milo.
Jack Townsend: The "24" year old vampire boyfriend of Alice. He is also in love with Alice and she has feelings for him as well. They get caught a few times while fooling around but nothing goes too far. He is the one who turns Alice's little brother Milo when he is fatally injured.
Peter Townsend: The aloof and estranged "brother" of Ezra and Jack. We found out that he was Jack's maker and was made by Ezra, thus their close bond. We also learned that he has a strange physical and emotional reaction or pull to Alice and she to him. She and he are constantly at odds however and he even attempted to kill her by drinking her blood.
Milo Bonham-Townsend: Alice's little brother who has finally acknowledged that he is gay to Alice. While on vacation at the Townsend home, Milo is fatally wounded and the only way to save his life is for him to turn which he does.
Mae: Ezra's wife/soulmate. She is the acting mother to all the vampires in the Townsend home. She had taken an immediate liking to Alice and now has a very close relationship with Milo since he has turned.
Ezra Townsend: As the eldest of the Townsend clan, Ezra is cool, calm, and collected. He is married to Mae and seems to be well educated and knows the proper thing to do in all situations.
Milo bit Jane: Alice's friend who is always either drunk or high and always looking for the next good time.
Lucian: A sleazeball vampire that goes after Alice repeatedly along with his girlfriend Violet. His real name is revealed to be Hector.
Olivia: A 600-year-old vampire female who can always be found lounging with a willing human "donor" at the vampire bar/club, 'V' in downtown Minneapolis. She is friendly to Alice.
