After leaving Iraq, all Trace Huntsman wanted was a peaceful solitary life; but when his friend Kendzie Gregor saddle him with overseeing his sisters assimilation to the twenty first century. What they didn't take into account is that this man-shy female just may be his undoing. She cleans all his stuff, rearrange his tools and brings home all sorts of stray animals. She can infuriate him like no other but for some reason she can also sets his blood a fire like no other.

Fiona has lived at the mercy of men before, having been raped and abused for seven months, she refuses to be at the mercy of her brothers or this sexy man whom she is now renting a room from. But if she completely honest with herself there is just something about this sloppy, rude, stubborn man that makes her yearn for more.

This was a great addition to the series. I have read book two and loved it, but I'm still needing to read book one and this book only made me want to read it more. I love each of the characters they have so much personality each one takes on a life of there own in each story even when they are not the main focus of the story with out taking away from the actual story.

The story line is great I love how Trace and Fiona over come there demons to realizes that what they need is each other and that they are willing to set aside there fears in order to be able to have each other.

I love Mac he was very intuiting in the second book, but I fell in love with him in this third book. He was so funny, with all is wise cracks and stupid comments had me rolling. I love the relationship between Trace and Mac, they act like they don't care for each other but really they are good friends. I seriously want to more of Mac in the next book, hopefully it will be his HEA book.
