- Sophia Mercer: Main character. Very snarky and always has a sarcastic comment to share.
- Jenna Talbot: Sophie's roommate and best friend. She's a vampire and outcast at Hex Hall. She's a "pinkaholic" and a lesbian.
- Alexander "Cal" Callahan: The hex hall's young, hot groundskeeper and healer. He was bethrothed to Sophie.
- Archer Cross: A hot warlock whom Sophie "had" a crush on at Hex Hall. He was revealed in "Hex Hall" to be one of the Eye.
- James Atherton: Sophie's dad
- Daisy: A demon living at Thorne Abbey.
- Nick: A demon living at Thorne Abbey
- Anastasia Casnoff: Headmistress at Hex Hall.
- Lara Casnoff: She is the second-in-command at The Council and a close advisor to Sophie's father.
