“It was super interesting to learn about the labor camps under Stalin. Somehow I missed all that in history class. The people from Lithuania suffered so much & this book focuses on the ones who were sent to Siberia. The book was written beautifully. My only complaint is that the end didn't really end. I wanted to know how the people got out of the camp, what happened to the characters, and how things concluded how they did. ”
