• Moira Tierney: Social Worker charged with making sure that baby Frankie is being well-cared for. Her poor upbringing clouds her judgement in terms of how the baby is being reared.
• Noel Lynch: Father of Frankie, son of Josie and Charles. Alcoholic and loner who changes his ways.
