I enjoyed the book very much, and have read the others in the series. It is not a serious book, but it is still very good. Sometimes books should be just fun and enjoyable. I hope some of you learn to lighten up and enjoy life.

I was not impressed by either the historical anachronisms or the Mary-Sueish "heroine," Amy, who in my opinion was over the top. I most likely won't be picking up any other books in the series any time soon.

Cute and fun, even a little silly but sometimes that's just what you need. I'll read the next one for sure.

wow, is this book really that bad?! I really want to read a good historical romance, but some of the reviews make it out to be awful! Should I read, or not?

This book was really, really bad! Very poor writing, particularly since the author is study to get both her Ph.D. and in law school. Lacking is an understandment. I want my money back. Look elsewhere for historical fiction, this is NOT, and I repeat NOT, historical fiction.
