This was an excellent tale of August Renoir and the dynamics of his painting one of his biggest paintings and how it brought the lives together of the models to go from strangers to friends. Vreeland shares Renoir's passion for motorized bicycles, to his love of women, his love of the color Prussian blue to his passion for all beauty. He was inspirational, tortured, eclectic, handsome, prone to some depression and yet he had a magic in his soul that translated into his fingers in such a way that the world has recognized him as one of the greatest painters. He knew Monet, Pizzarro, Cezanne and many others within the impressionist movement and without.
