  • Calla Tor: The strong alpha female of the Nightshade pack. Although she was destined as Ren's mate, she fell in love with Shay as well. She's stubborn, loyal, and a fierce warrior.
  • Seamus 'Shay' Doran: Shay is both a werewolf and a Scion, as Calla changed him into a werewolf to save her life.
  • Renier 'Ren' Laroche: Ren is the Bane pack's son's alpha male. Possessive and stubborn. He was set aside to be Calla's mate, and they were going to lead the new Haldis pack together, but she ended up running away on the night of their mating ceremony.
  • Ansel 'An' Tor: Calla's little brother. Is dating Bryn.
  • Bryn: Calla's second in command of the young Nightshade pack and in love with Calla's brother Ansel. One of the rescued wolves who remains loyal to Calla after she'd fled from the mating ceremony. Can't seem to get through to Calla's brother once she's been rescued.
  • Mason, Fey: The other pack members of the Nightshades. Mason stayed loyal to Calla after the mating ceremony, but Fey turned and gave her loyalties to Emile Laroche and the Bane Pack. Mason is in love with Nev.
  • Sabine, Neville, Cosette and Dax: The rest of the young Bane pack. Sabine and Neville (Nev) stayed loyal to Calla after the mating ceremony, but Cosette and Dax turned and gave their loyalties to Emile Laroch and the Bane Pack.
  • Logan Bane: The Keeper in charge of both young packs. Is gay.
  • Monroe: The Guide of the Haldis Team of Searchers. He rescued Shay and Calla and hopes she will join their team in order to end the war. Adne's father.
  • Ethan: A Searcher. Calla killed his brother defending Shay. Holds a grudge against Calla.
  • Connor: A Searcher. The clown of the group, but a defined Striker for the Haldis Team. Second in command after Monroe. Very close with Adne
  • Lydia: A Searcher. Is with Tess.
  • Emile Laroche: Ren's father and alpha of the elder Banes. Abuses the younger Bane female pack members. Horribly cruel and untrustworthy.
  • Isaac: A Searcher.
  • Silas: A Scribe of the Searchers. 'Paper Pusher'
  • Anika: The Arrow of the Haldis Team of Searchers. The leader of the Searchers.
  • Sasha: A Nightshade pack member, was Calla's mother's patrolling partner and friend.
  • Corrine: Ren's mother. Was murdered by the Keepers when they discovered her plot to fight them and flee with her child. Asked Monroe to kill her because she hated her life so much--especially all parts concerning her mate, Emille.
  • Grant: Calla's Big Ideas teacher. Spy for the Searchers. Human
  • Adne: Monroe's daughter and a skilled Weaver. Good at almost everything. Doesn't possess a normal bond with her father.Easily able to read Calla. Has some kind of relationship with Connor, though not clearly defined. Saved the pack and rescue team from a suicide mission.
  • Efron: The Keeper in charge of the Banes.
  • Kyle: Ethan's brother, a seacher who was killed by a wraith after he attacked Calla and Shay.
  • Tess: Tess is a Searcher in the Haldis division who's in a relationship with Lydia.
