- Only Entrepreneurship can Eradicate Poverty: Murthy says that wealth when created legally creates large number of jobs with high disposable incomes. Only this can eradicate poverty. The old socialist regime of taking away wealth from the rich and distributing it among the poor is not at all a viable solution.
- Leadership through Example: Murthy believes that leaders have to show the way for his followers to accept. Rules must be simple so that everyone can easily understand and follow it.
