  “This is my first book, written specifically for accountants, lawyers, and other professional service firms. It challenges the pricing-by-the-hour paradigm (a form of cost-plus pricing) and offers alternatives for professionals to get out from under the artificial ceiling imposed––on themselves––by the billable hour, while offering alternatives to maintaining timesheets.
  
  This is the 6th edition, published by CCH (prior editions published by Harcourt Brace Professional Publishers, and then Aspen Publishers). First published in July 1998.
  
  It has been discontinued by CCH.”
