He is not a very good footbal player, he is clumsy! The only one who knows he can kick is his best friend,Chris. Chris is the star quarterback for the team, but Chris may not be able to play on the team because he can't read.Nobody but Scott knows this. Scott's nickname is" the brain" because he is really smart. Scott and Chris make a deal that Scott will help him study and read so Chris can play football. This is an exciting book, because you get to find out if Chris learns to read so he can stay on the team and you get to follow the team through the football season even to the championship game. Chris and Scott are best friends and they always pull for each other. Great Book!!!
