I particularly liked Catalyst because I still remember, even though I read this book years ago, when she is calling up MIT as her mother and demands why she didn't get in. And the person replied that there was nothing that Kate was particularly passionate about. I still take that to heart because I'm applying to colleges, and it's key that there is something different about you, that grades aren't always the most important thing.

I liked this book a lot. It wasn't really as good as "Speak" but yes, like melody, I'm saying it was really really good...

Not as spectacular as Speak, but it held it's own. I love the twist at the end.

i think this book is really great the way that teri makes you feel. teri is so unique and throughout the book you hate her, love her, feel sorry for her, feel happy for her, and ultimately feel like you've known her your whole life. Laurie Halse Anderson really created an interesting character.
