“Thank you” to Jennifer Erin Valent and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Catching Moondrops" to review for them. I am truly grateful for this generosity. I really appreciate the time, effort and expense it takes to make a reviewer copy available to me.

Jennifer Erin Valent never fails to blow my mind with her writing! This third novel in the trilogy that is preceded by "Fireflies in December" and "Cottonwood Whispers", "Catching Moondrops" continues the saga of Jessilyn Lassiter, the love of her life, Luke Talley and her best friend, Gemma. When Tad Pritchett enters the picture as a black physician, controversy and violence stirs when a white woman allows him to treat her.

This beautifully narrated fictional portrait of true American cultural history seems so true to life that it almost feels like a work of non-fiction. As I have stated previously when reviewing Jennifer Valent's work, I believe this should be required reading in high school. This is a wonderful book!
