Reading Level: Young AdultsMy sister and her friends (none of whom had read this before) began reading this for a book club. They are 12 years old, and they all got to a part in this book where they were very uncomfortable. It has a lot of adult themes/graphic depictions, and parents should look into it very carefully before letting a child under the age of 14 read it.
