I haven't read the book, but I have had one on one instruction on how to get started making copper enameled beads. I hope to start making small peices of jewelry soon. But if you are interested in copper enameling there are lots of books out there and maybe even some classes in your community. Contact your local art guild to see if anyone in the area teaches a class or can teach you one on one.

I ordered this book last week and am eager to start using it as a reference as I began my life long interest in copper enameling. Reading this book helped me understand why my first pieces came out not so great. It does seem as if I put the cart before the horse so to speak, but I'm glad I did experiment with a few pieces without the book just to get an idea of how the enamel would act. This book is definately worth it. Easy to read and photos to help you see what needs to be seen.
