Great book for kids ages 12, maybe 13 and up. Orson Scott Card never dissapoints, as he has written the award winning series of Ender's Game as well. This along with Ender's Game is a sci-fi book. It is a little difficult and requires the reader to be able to picture what is going on in the story well in their mind, because there are unusual things that you have to get an image for yourself in order to understand.
