• Patrick: Finley Tanner's boyfriend. He is a pilot and brings her gifts from his travels. He is a bit predictable according to Finley.
• Dr. Hall: A physician who was sued over the death of a patient. The law firm Finley Tanner works for defended him successfully.
• Finley Anderson Tanner: Love her - she's a bargain shopper with a intravenous need for coffee! Also known as FAT to her enemies.
• Graham Keller: A juror in Dr. Hall's trial who dies about 3 years later.
• Sam: Finley Tanner's upstairs neighbor and owner of 2 cats. He is gay. He owns a design business.
