“John Grisham is a good writer but rarely a fun one. This is a fun look at Christmas.”
“This had to be one of the funniest laugh out loud books I've ever read....there is a street in Portland, Oregon which has [did have anyway 10 years ago] the same attitude as the one in this book and there were a couple of 'scrooges' ala book....yeah, what are our priorities? No longer feeding the light company but the poor at Christmas, no longer killing a tree but planting a tree for Christ, no longer spending thousands on presents that are broken by 4 but giving to the less fortunate kids that only dream about the richness....Grisham was spot on and fortunately served it to us in a painless manner and with a belly laugh here and there....very very good book and quick to read!”
“I really enjoyed this book. It made me think about where our priorities in life are... what is Christmas about anyway? Maybe it really isn't about the Frosty on the roof and the traditional dinner, but more about our friends and family and how we treat each other. A very funny book.”
