She recently moved to Palm Springs, CA from England to be near her daughter Sarah, son-in-law Everette, and grandson Shawn. She has a tendency to be a little too nosy for her own good. Somehow she manages to get herself wrapped up in all sorts of messes. She also has a passion for buying large pocketbooks. She has one for every outfit. Betty Wilcox - Aggie's best friend for twenty plus years. She moved to Palm Springs with Aggie. Aggie purchased them both a condo next door to each other in a private country club on a golf course. Betty moved to be near her long lost cousin, Roger. She found him on the Internet. Betty has been married three times. She has lousy taste in men and is actively looking for husband number four. She's Aggie's sidekick.Roger Dunlap - An interior decorator in the Palm Springs area. He has a flair for design and a passion for expensive, exotic fish. He tags along with Betty his long lost cousin. She's his only family. He has a tendency to be a little flamboyant. And he owns a polo shirt in every pastel color available.Officer Tom Wood - A Palm Springs Police Officer and also a member of the mounted police at the Thursday night Street Fair. He met Aggie when she apprehended a purse thief by tripping him, then whacking him repeatedly over the head with one of her oversized pocketbooks. Officer Wood is recently divorced and trying his darndest to get Aggie to date him. Sarah Underhill-Ferguson - Aggie's daughter. She's married to a United States Marine. They're currently stationed in Twentynine Palms, CA. Sarah is very practical to the point of being a stick in the mud. She's Aggie's voice of reason.Everette Ferguson - Aggie's son-in-law. He's a United States Marine. He's pretty laid back and spends quite a bit of time overseas.Shawn Ferguson - Aggie's grandson. Shawn just started 1st grade. Being he's an only child and an only grandchild, he's spoiled rotten. Shawn loves dinosaurs, toy cars, and Freckles, (the family dog.)Anita Ferguson - Aggie's archrival. She's Everette's mother, making her the other Grandmother. In Aggie's eyes, Anita is insufferable and likes to tsk, tsk, tsk. Aggie dreads Anita's annual family visits. And guess what? It's that time of year. Let the battle of the grandmothers begin! Esmerelda Sinclair - Ex-movie star, in her seventies, married to Jeremy Sinclair. Jeremy Sinclair - Married to Esmerelda Sinclair. He's in his forties and obsessed with his wife's money.Sabrina Reynolds - A librarian recently transferred to the desert from Los Angeles. She's Jeremy Sinclair's mistress. Officer Vincent Ramirez - Hunky cop that Betty has her eye on.Florence the Gardener - The gardener at the Country Club where Aggie & Betty reside.Mrs. Shelley Henderson - A woman of indiscernible age. She's a neighbor to both Aggie and Betty. She's addicted to plastic surgery, loves the color pink, but most of all loves her little fluffy dog, Chloe. Mr. Henry Henderson - He's hard of hearing, a bit senile, doesn't like the color pink, and is not very fond of Chloe.Howard the Property Manager - He lives with his mother in the country club where Aggie and Betty reside. He is in charge of collecting Home Owner Association checks.
