A recurrent theme in Crafton's books is old folks. She is surrounded by very old people: Henry is almost ninety, William eightish who married a lovely woman the same age and so on. Not only is she looking after them but also is helping her to let go of those who had passed away.
Another must-read for Sue Grafton's fans. ”
“Kinsey investigates the whereabouts of one of the 3 sons who will inherit Malek Construction. Missing for 18 years, they aren't looking forward to finding him.”

I'm not sure how many she has written and what letter of the alphabet she is on but it's an easy read; probably not even close to be on the level of Nora Roberts or Lisa Jackson but ok nonetheless. Keep reading!!”

Looking for a longlost brother, Kinsey finds Guy Maleck while Robert Dietz comes back in to her life for a while. The Maleck’s were an interesting bunch. Guy had gotten in trouble long ago as a young adult, splitting with his well-to-do family. When the patriarch dies, the will demands Guy be found. A woman who was duped long ago comes back in to the family to seek revenge. ”
