Kinsey gets herself into two stories that intertwine but yet they are not really related. I like Dietz and how he protected Kinsey as her bodyguard with a hitman on the loose. Sue Grafton writes this character so well, I just can't wait until the next chapter in Kinsey's life.

Another good read from Sue Grafton. Kinsey Millhone is a very interesting character.

Book 7 in the series, and I'm back reading them after quite a break. I'd hoped that leaving them alone for a while would re-ignite my interest in this series, but as with others in the series, it's a nice little story but there's just not enough excitement in it for me. A couple of good little twists here and there, but all just a bit too safe. I will plod on through the rest of them (I have H to L still to read).

Kinsey must find a little old lady. She finds herself in trouble and hires a bodyguard for herself. Grafton keeps your interest every step of the way through this plot. Put yourself with Kinsey as she works to solve this crime. Sit down in your favorite chair and settle in for a fun read with Kinsey. Kinsey Millhone works with ex- Robert Dietz, in solving a mystery. As she sets out to tackle a new case-searching for headstrong Agnes Gray in the Mojave Desert-a smiling contract killer stalks Kinsey on a deserted highway. Does Robert Dietz come to Kinsey’s rescue?
