    Can anyone explain to me what they enjoy in books by Sue Grafton? I love to read and usally really love series books however, I read this first one and wasn't to taken with it. Maybe I need to re-read it? I typically like Nora Roberts, and also her writings as J D Robb, Lisa Scottoline, Laura Lippman, Fern Michaels, etc. Thank you in advance for your input.

    I read all of Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone Murder Mysteries series one after the other. Easy reading, and the characters are interesting and fun. I will read the next one, if it ever gets written.

    This is the book that started me on reading mysteries.
    It had been lightweight Harlequin romances till my Aunt brought a bag of books to me. I found A is for Alibi.
    Probably an first printing of a mass market paperback.
    Wish I still had it! Anyway, Kinsey grabbed me.
    And I haven't stopped reading Grafton and she led me to search out others of the genre and I am still doing so today. A couple of years ago I bought all the paperbacks available and began again and read through the series. They still hold up very well. Kinsey remains unique even with so many now in the genre.
    Thanks Sue. And thanks Aunt Dot:}
