This is a great book! I would use this in the classroom to talk about the judicial system, and might even use this book alongside a government or social studies lesson. I would create discussion about whether or not the students think that something like this actually takes place in the real world, and discuss why or why not. I might also have the students compare the book with the movie and create a Venn diagram of their findings.

The book great, the movie, not so great, but great. Maybe the difference on topics (book tabaco, movie guns) I don“t know, but something tells me that the book always beat the movie...!!!

Very entertaining- everyone's in a scam. Unfortunately a real world story.

So I actually listened to this in the car on the way from Pittsburgh to New Jersey to New York City to Ithaca and then while I unpacked =)

I'm pretty sure that dad and I have listened to this before on our many volleyball trips, and it's definitely a favorite of his. I liked it a lot too - my only qualm is that Rachel says "You're a good person Nate. You're worth saving" - because no! No one is worth saving. It's not about us being awesome, it's about God being awesome. None of us have deserved our salvation.

But that was just one line of the book - it's good otherwise!
