I didn't think it was all that great of a book. He has done much better with others. It lacked his usual "spark".

I have yet to finish this book. I started it and had to force myself half way through. It was just not interesting nor captivating to keep my attention. I have loved every book by him, I have yet to read his other few books that are out of his way, because of this one.

I thought it was the worst book that he ever wrote. My mother in law gave me the book because she couldn't even get through it. I got through it but out of sheer determination.

Bleachers was a great book.. it is definitely the type of story that could be made into a movie like remember the titans or friday night lights.I love books like Bleachers becausse you can relate so well to them. The town of messina reminds me of harvest!

I thought this book was really good but it was real somber throughout the whole story. All they would talk about is the memeries they had of playing football in the glory days and how exciting it was.
